We offer you the possibility to take your horse in training. To be true to our philosophy, every horse starts at the basic, whichever level your horse has.
We offer schooling of your horse that is based on the nature of the animal. This schooling is led by Jossy Reynvoet whose way of working stems from focus, respect, trust with as a result safety and sympathy in the relationship between human and horse. This is also the reason why all horses are schooled without a bit.
Choice in education
- 20 days education: the horse will be worked effectively for 20 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday); during the weekend the horse can rest
- 15 days education: the horse will be worked effectively for 15 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday); during the weekend the horse can rest
- 10 days education: the horse will be worked effectively for 10 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday); during the weekend the horse can rest
- 5 days education: the horse will be worked effectively for 5 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Description
20 days education:
At the end of this period, you can expect a saddle-fit horse that can be ridden independently in forests and traffic. For a rider with medium experience, this horse is ready to start working with. Experience tells us that this period is long enough to prepare a young horse for a ridden life. If during the trajectory it becomes clear that your horse needs more time due to specific reasons, then we will, of course, inform you about this as soon as possible. Horses in re-education often also need more time.
5, 10, and 15 days education:
For cases in which specific situations with your horse are difficult for you, we also offer shorter training periods that depend on the question and the problem. Some examples of these are to give a horse a renewed trust in the trailer, in traffic, starting the side movements that are necessary for straightness training, gymnastic work et cetera. Longer periods than are listed here are of course also possible.
The follow-up trajectory:
It is also possible that we help horses and riders together after the education. For this, there are several options that we adjust to the wishes and possibilities of horse and rider. For example, you can leave your horse here for a bit longer to have lessons during that period. Or your horse leaves the Bornehoeve and you return on a regular basis for lessons, on lesson days, or as a week student.
Boarding & feed during the education:
During the schooling, the horse stays on the Bornehoeve. Horses in education stay separate from each other in a paddock with a stable and a hay bin. Via this hay bin, they can have contact with other horses in education. Every morning the paddocks and stables are mucked out. The horses have 20/24 hours hay, a licking stone, and fresh water available.
